Overview:

Job Purpose

ICE Data Services, a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange, is looking for a manager to join the ICE Global Network (IGN) team based in NYC. ICE Global Network offers unique content, delivery and access to execution services through an ultra-secure, highly resilient network. The IGN Product Enablement team manages the business aspects of the IGN products including Colocation, Connectivity, Hosting, Content access and Wireless. This role is an opportunity for you to be at the center of the fast-paced IGN business. 

This position will manage a team of professionals who are responsible to drive revenue, ensure delivery of solutions to customers and continue to grow the IGN business.  This role interfaces with numerous different ICE teams to facilitate a positive customer experience and advance the overall business objectives of IGN, including revenue growth, increased Annual Subscription Value (ASV), and product adoption.  Additionally, identifying potential problems or gaps in the order to implementation process, and addressing those, are critical to being successful.

The Manager will work closely with both internal and external teams, including sales, sales engineering, account management, network engineering and operations teams, legal, compliance and regulatory, as well as customers and strategic partners. The role draws on subject matter expertise, business acumen, technical proficiency, and strong communication skills. 

Responsibilities

Manage a team of experienced analysts (3) located in New York and Chicago. Assign work efforts, supervise project delivery and monitor procedure compliance, acting as an escalation point and subject matter expert.

Monitor all connectivity customer implementations globally, including coordination between customers, customer engineering, data center operations, etc. for both the IGN business and the connectivity components of the Consolidated Feed business.

Forecast new business revenue based on timing of customer implementations, and coordinate updates with the Finance team.

Analyze financial data, identifying trends for products and services, geographies, etc.

Approve all IGN sales orders with regards to deal structure, product capabilities, commercial pricing, margin analysis, etc.

Interact with third-party suppliers and internal teams (product management, data center operations, engineering) to coordinate solutions for customers, including delivery timelines, pricing, etc.

Working with Sales and Sales engineers, review designs for ad-hoc non-standard product proposals, including evaluating product capabilities to ensure qualified solutions.

Oversee and manage the colocation businesses supporting the ICE markets (New York Stock Exchange and ICE Futures), including management of overall policies, installations, customer layouts, etc.

Collaborate with ICE legal as needed to ensure completeness of all contract terms, including any proposed exceptions.

Work in concert with regulatory and legal teams to evaluate all customer offerings to ensure compliance with regulations in the US and the UK, e.g., SEC, MiFID, etc., including review and approval of product related public filings.

Maintain IGN order forms across business entities, including coordination with development teams, to ensure accuracy and completeness of all documents.

Act in an advisory capacity to Business Operations and Sales teams regarding service start dates, downgrades, erosions, annual price increase process, etc.

Act as the subject matter expert for the definition and interpretation of all Service Provider policies.

Partner with Product team regarding new product offerings, pricing, enhancements, etc.

Knowledge and Experience

University degree, preferably in technology, engineering, or business

8+ years of experience in a role dealing with financial network services or related sectors. Ideally, the candidate would have worked for a trading venue or a financial market service provider (Extranet, ASP, ISV) and has experience and exposure to the following: Market participants, exchanges, and alternative trading systems

Market data and order entry protocols

Electronic and algorithmic trading technologies and trading strategies

Experience managing a team or acting as a mentor, especially within matrix organizations

Results oriented with a strong work ethic and an eagerness to take on new assignments and challenges

Strong communication and presentation skills

Strong customer focus and able to work effectively in cross-functional teams

Solid understanding of trading venue infrastructures (edge network, gateways, matching engine, feed handlers) with exposure to market data and order entry protocols.

Exposure to regulation governing colocations facilities and legal documentation (master agreement, policies, terms & conditions, order form)

Rigorous focus to ensure and monitor compliance to relevant regulations

Familiar with trading venues and/or venue connectivity model (technical solution, costs, redistribution model, etc.)

Strong knowledge of data center environments (space & power, racking and patching, cross-connects, meet-me-rooms)

Effective time management and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a demanding and fast paced environment

Able to distribute work assignments and oversee as needed to ensure successful completion

Schedule

This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week. 

New York Base Salary Range 

  

The expected base salary for this role if located in New York City is between $120,000 to $195,000 USD.  The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange’s incentive compensation.  While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
