Responsibilities:
Under the direction of a Radiologist performs diagnostic ultrasound/vascular procedures. This position requires providing diagnostic ultrasound to a department that provides care/service to critically ill through rehabilitating patients newborn through geriatric population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of St. Mary Medical Center. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support St. Mary Medical Centers strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan.
Qualifications:
One year full time work experience as a sonographer in an acute care environment and/or completion of an ARDMS approved program.
ARDMS required within 9 months of date of hire.
