Immanuel Communities is seeking a Full time Floating Sous Chef to work at our two senior communities in the Des Moines region. Deerfield, located at 13731 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA 50323. Deerfield has 122 independent living apartment homes, 32 independent living patio homes, 20 assisted living, 24 residential care apartment homes and 30 long-term care/skilled nursing suites. Copper Shores Village, located at 1500 Edgewater Drive, Pleasant Hill, IA 50327. Copper Shores Village has 67 independent living apartments, 38 assisted living apartments and 14 memory support apartments. Located right next to Copper Creek Lake.
This position will pay up to $25.00/hour. Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

What You Will Do
The responsibilities of this job include all types of food preparation, including yet not limited to baking, grilling, stove-top and oven cooking; and cleaning the kitchen. Addtionally may be assigned to oversee progress of kitchen staff abilities, kitchen projects or special events, certain aspects of food preparation in the kitchen, inventory management and oversees the kitchen function when the Team Lead of Food & Nutrition Services is not available.
Skills & Requirements
Two (2) years of culinary experience is required
