Learning Technologist/ E-learning Developer
Think FE is excited to assist a training provider in the search for a Learning Technologist/E-learning Developer for the Skills Improvement Fund project.
Location: Various locations (Bracknell, Banbury, Oxford, Reading, Abingdon, Guildford, Farnham)
Contract: Full-time (37.5 hours) - with possibility for Hybrid work (2-3 days/week)
Hours & Days of Work: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with a 4:30 PM finish on Fridays.
Start Date: ASAP
End date: December
Pay: around £200 - £320 + 12% holiday pay/ day (open to negotiation)
About:
Candidates will be responsible for:
Building high-quality, interactive, and modular digital learning experiences to enhance learner engagement.
Utilizing the Canvas-based Learning Management System (LMS) for content delivery.
Developing primarily in Articulate Storyline, with some additional LMS-based components.
Creating online learning modules that meet the Skills Improvement Fund (SIF) project requirements.
Translating content and vision from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) into engaging, high-quality learning experiences.
Collaborating with project peers and SMEs while managing their own progress through allocated unit builds.
Providing regular updates to the LSIF/SIF Projects Manager.
Accessing Media Development and QA support from dedicated resources, with potential involvement in these areas based on project needs.
Ideal Candidate:
Proficient user of Articulate Storyline (essential)
2-3 years of experience in eLearning or creative industries(essential)
Experience developing eLearning content for accessibility (minimum WCAG 2.0 AA) (essential)
Knowledge of LMS Administration (ideal)
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (ideal)
Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
Awareness of the latest developments in digital learning
Experience in the further education (FE) sector is desirable but not essential
Strong communication and collaborative skills
Have a DBS Check or willingness to do one (it will be paid for)
