Oracle Cloud Project Manager (US Based)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of end-to-end Oracle Cloud SaaS implementations for global clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing complex projects, delivering solutions on time and within budget, and ensuring that client expectations are consistently exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Oracle Cloud SaaS implementation projects, including Financials, Procurement, HCM, and other Oracle Cloud modules, from initiation to post-implementation support.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that detail scope, timelines, resource allocation, risks, and deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and the implementation team, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, technical consultants, and client stakeholders, to ensure the project meets business requirements.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks to the project's success, developing contingency plans as needed.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings with internal and client teams to monitor progress and address any issues or changes in scope.
  • Ensure that all project documentation is completed, including project plans, risk assessments, and lessons learned.
  • Ensure compliance with Oracle Cloud best practices, industry standards, and the customer's internal governance policies.
  • Provide post-implementation support and facilitate the transition to the support and operations teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, specifically with Oracle Cloud SaaS implementations (Financials, Procurement, HCM, etc.).
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end global implementations of Oracle Cloud SaaS for multinational clients.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud SaaS applications (ERP, HCM, SCM, etc.).
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage project budgets, financial forecasts, and resource allocation effectively.
  • Experience working with global teams and across different time zones.

Preferred Skills:

  • Oracle Cloud certifications (eg, Oracle Cloud ERP/HCM/SCM Implementation Specialist).
  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud tools (eg, Oracle Cloud Reporting, OTBI, etc.).
  • Experience in managing third-party vendors and offshore teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a strategic mindset.
