Job Description:
Purpose of the role
- We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Financial Crime Manager to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of financial crime prevention and detection within the organization. This includes developing and implementing policies and procedures to prevent financial crimes such as money laundering, fraud, and terrorist financing.
- The Financial Crime Manager will work closely with various departments to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, conduct risk assessments, and provide training and guidance to staff.
- The role requires a deep understanding of financial crime typologies, regulatory requirements, and best practices in financial crime prevention. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
- They will also be responsible for leading investigations into suspected financial crimes, liaising with law enforcement agencies, and preparing reports for senior management. This is a critical role that requires a proactive and strategic approach to managing financial crime risks and ensuring the integrity of the organization's financial operations.
Responsibilities

- Coordinate with external auditors during financial crime audits.
- Manage and respond to regulatory inquiries and examinations.
- Develop and deliver financial crime awareness programs.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to identify anomalies.
- Maintain records of financial crime investigations and outcomes.
- Advise senior management on financial crime risks and mitigation strategies.
- Participate in industry forums and working groups on financial crime.
Skills -
- Strong knowledge of financial crime typologies and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in leading financial crime investigations.
- Ability to develop and implement effective financial crime policies.
- Familiarity with AML, KYC, and CTF regulations.
