Role: Senior IT Project Manager

Location: Remote working but based in the USA

Duration: 6 months

Key Essential Skills:

  • 10+ years of Project Management experience (ERP Projects, Infrastructure Deployment)
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale, multi-geography IT projects, preferably in FMCG/CPG industries.
  • Familiarity with the implementation and integration of Sales Force Automation (SFA), Trade Promotion Management (TPM), and reporting tools.
  • Strong understanding of the sales and distribution models within fast-moving consumer goods industries.
  • Proficient in SAP, with the ability to manage sales operations and promotions through SAP integrations.
  • Ability to effectively manage relationships with both technical and commercial stakeholders across various regions and cultures.
  • Ability to lead diverse, cross-functional teams and collaborate with various SMEs and leadership teams.

Desirable Skills:

  • Ability to effectively manage relationships with both technical and commercial stakeholders across various regions and cultures.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to senior stakeholders.

Overview:

We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager with a deep understanding of FMCG/CPG environments to oversee a critical sales tools implementation project in emerging markets. This role will involve managing multiple toolsets under the Sales Function, aimed at optimizing route-to-market operations, especially in markets heavily reliant on distributor sales. The successful candidate will work closely with regional and global teams, including Sales Admins, Distributor Admins, and leadership teams, to ensure seamless implementation and integration of these tools.

The project will initially focus on the AMEA region as part of a Proof of Concept (POC), with future plans to expand into LATAM (mainly Mexico) based on POC success.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead the end-to-end project management for the implementation of various sales tools including Sales Force Automation (SFA), Trade Promotion Management (TPM), and secondary sales tracking solutions.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Act as the main point of contact between the SI partner, local subject matter experts (SMEs), and the central project team based in Europe (IT) and Dubai (Commercial Team).
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Ensure seamless coordination between Distributor Sales Representatives, Key Account Managers, Regional Managers, and leadership teams to drive adoption and effective use of the tools.
  • Secondary Sales Data Management: Oversee the setup and management of tools designed to track secondary sales data (Distributor to Customer) and report on market insights.
  • Sales Operations Management: Lead the deployment of tools for managing sales operations, promotions, and overall reporting.
  • Geographic Focus: Oversee the POC in the AMEA region and plan for future expansion into LATAM markets, primarily Mexico.
  • Risk Management: Anticipate and mitigate risks associated with cross-geographical implementations, ensuring timelines are met within the complexity of the program.
  • Progress Reporting: Regularly update senior leadership on project progress, milestones, risks, and deliverables.
    • Vendor Management: Work closely with the Systems Integrator (SI) partner to ensure the quality and timely delivery of the project.
