Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

Assess and monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being before, during, and after radiation therapy.

Administer supportive care and medications as prescribed, including managing side effects.

Educate patients and their families about radiation therapy procedures, potential side effects, and self-care techniques.

Collaborate with the radiation oncologist and interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Monitor and document patients' response to treatment and report any adverse reactions.

Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Job Requirements:

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Radiation Oncology nursing.

Current BLS certification.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

Knowledge of radiation therapy procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
