The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the company’s operational strategy and execution, ensuring alignment between the executive team’s strategic objectives and the operational teams. This role will take ownership of facilitating quarterly strategic alignment meetings, managing cross-functional projects, and driving continuous improvement across all operational processes. The Director will lead the operations team and be responsible for translating high-level company goals into actionable projects and will report to the COO.

This role offers flexibility and can be based in Austin with a hybrid schedule, or anywhere in the U.S. with a remote setup, including occasional travel to our other offices.

Requirements

WHAT YOU’ll DO:

Strategic Alignment: Lead quarterly sessions with the executive team to align on organizational strategy and translate this into an actionable roadmap for execution across departments.

Operational Leadership: Oversee the operations team to ensure accountability for the timely and successful delivery of projects and initiatives.

Governance & Accountability: Manage the governance structure for the executive team, including the development and tracking of executive meeting cadences, board meetings, and strategic alignment off-sites.

Process Improvement: Develop and implement scalable processes that improve operational efficiency across the organization, working with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement.

Team Leadership: Mentor and manage the operations team (including Operations Specialists) to ensure professional growth and effective performance.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Define and track key operational metrics, enabling data-driven decisions within the company.

Executive Support: Work closely with the executive team to facilitate strategic decision-making, offering operational insights and recommendations based on company data and objectives.

Risk Management: Identify operational risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring business continuity.

WHAT YOU’ll BRING:

5-10 years of experience in operations or project management, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role.

Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Strong ability to align operational processes with long-term strategic goals and to anticipate the company’s future needs.

Excellent executive communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex operational issues into actionable insights.

Experience with Tableau and strategic planning frameworks.
