Ewing Outdoor Supply is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at the Field Support Center (FSC) in Phoenix. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process from invoice receipt through payment, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all payments while maintaining strong relationships with vendors.
Responsibilities
Process and verify a high volume of invoices for accuracy and compliance.
Manage the payment approval workflow and ensure timely payments to vendors.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Maintain organized records for all accounts payable transactions.
Assist in month-end closing processes and prepare reports as needed.
Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and other account issues.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Identify process improvements and efficiencies within the accounts payable system.
Requirements
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or related financial role.
Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Knowledge of relevant accounting regulations and practices.
