Job Description
AECOM is seeking a highly qualified Transportation Infrastructure Planner III for our growing Ohio statewide transportation engineering project work based out of AECOM's Columbus, Ohio
Creatively solve multimodal transportation problems
Conducts research, data reviews, and analysis to inform transportation decision-making and determine potential environmental effects with minimal direction
Interprets and compares findings of relevant studies for compliance with local, state, and Federal requirements, standard procedures, and client expectations.
Analyzes a wide range of planning, land use and transportation data and assist with technical analyses, feasibility studies, and other comprehensive plans, transportation reports or memorandums with minimal oversight
Assist with modeling of travel time, ridership and cost estimates for public transit projects
Leads the preparation of reports and maps on various topics
Lead research and technical analyses on land use and multimodal transportation planning
Supports agency stakeholder and public engagement efforts.
Prepare and give effective presentations
Ability to work independently
Working with an interdisciplinary team of technical specialists and managing their project-delivery efforts.
Assisting with proposals and business development
Provide oversight and guidance to junior staff
Good written and verbal communication skills
Work in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
Assists with other duties assigned by senior staff and/or Project Managers.
