Overview: We are seeking an experienced Application Integration Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of integration solutions that enhance operational efficiency for our client within the transportation industry. This hybrid role offers flexibility in Lombard, IL, San Francisco, CA, or Austin, TX locations while contributing to the strategic objectives of our fleet operations. You will leverage your advanced technical skills and quick learning ability to drive innovation, tackle complex integration challenges, and deliver high-quality solutions aligned with our evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Architecture:
Lead the design and architecture of scalable, reliable, and secure integration solutions.
Quickly grasp and apply new technologies to enhance integration capabilities.
Development & Implementation:
Develop, configure, and implement integrations using middleware tools, APIs, and custom scripts.
Demonstrate versatility across various technologies and platforms.
Data Management:
Ensure accurate data exchange between systems, maintaining integrity and consistency.
Develop and implement efficient data mapping, transformation, and migration strategies.
Automation:
Create automated workflows and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Adapt automation strategies to evolving technologies.
Technical Leadership:
Provide guidance to junior engineers and cross-functional teams.
Drive best practices in integration development and take ownership of project outcomes.
Troubleshooting & Support:
Monitor integration performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions.
Ensure continuous system functionality through ongoing support.
Documentation:
Maintain thorough documentation of integration processes, configurations, and changes.
Produce precise technical specifications, design documents, and user manuals.
