Job Description:

Associate Director, HR Process Optimization 

Exciting Opportunity: Join Our Innovative People Technology and Analytics Team! As the Associate Director, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our ongoing HR transformation, shaping how we design and deliver cutting-edge experiences and solutions for our workforce. You'll have the opportunity to optimize workflows, identify automation opportunities, and harness the power of AI to revolutionize our HR processes. Acting as the lead subject matter expert, you'll guide improvements within our HR technology stack while empowering both the HR team and employees to excel. This is your chance to lead impactful change and help shape the future of our organization. 

Position Overview: 

Lead workshops and transform HR business processes through innovative methods (e.g., human centric design workshops, automation and GenAI) 

Function as HCM “business owner” Workday – making decisions on system configuration, foundational data elements, business process design, security, and testing. 

Proactively identify opportunities to optimize existing system setup, automation of audit or manual work 

Lead System Optimization initiatives – centralized approvals, GenAI, automation to improve the end-user experience. 

Serve as primary point of contact for prioritization of projects, sign-off on deliverables, translation of HR requirements, etc. 

Cultivate, maintain, and enhance effective relationships across HR to understand current and future business needs. 

Coordinate with budget process for HR systems/technology investments for IT and initiative planning 

Develop the HR optimization roadmap (strategy/ structure/ staffing/ capabilities/ technology) in partnership with HRLT and HRIS 

Research best practices, trends, and proactive outreach to understand optimization opportunities. 

Key Qualifications:  

6+ years of experience Leadership HR system/process development, project management, strong systems knowledge of Workday required. 

Proven expertise in managing and leading high-performing technical teams. 

Knowledge of HR technologies and reporting tools including Workday. Lean methodology and design thinking experience preferred. 

Expertise in leading system transformation 

Core Skills: 

Ability to evaluate and define end-to-end processes, identifying current pain points, and improving operational efficiency. 

Skilled in prioritizing issues and creating actionable plans to address HR challenges that may arise. 

Results-driven professional with a focus on identifying and implementing innovative solutions. 

Strong design thinking mindset 

Experience in driving and fostering partnerships to support organizational goals. 

 Additional Information:  

Location: 633 Third Avenue 

Reporting: Senior Director, People Technology, Reporting & Analytics 

Schedule: Hybrid, 2 days a week, flexibility to attend meetings at MSK’s locations 

Pay Range $160,700 - $265,200
