You will be responsible for:
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and design teams to develop electrical systems and integrate customer specifications.
* Create wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and BOMs, providing technical support for drafting and manufacturing.
* Analyze customer drawings and specifications, incorporating them into project designs and quotations.
* Manage the procurement, expediting, and coordination of electrical components, ensuring adherence to cost estimates.
* Review and assist with testing, controls checks, and installation procedures to meet project and industry standards.
* Coordinate with suppliers and certifying bodies (UL, CSA, ATEX) to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
* Propose and implement safety improvements, following OSHA and company safety regulations
Knowledge:
* Knowledge of NEC and other international electrical codes
* Knowledge of instrumentation and controls
* knowledge of rotating equipment such as pumps, gears, compressors etc
* Knowledge of API standards desired
* Mechanical knowledge of custom OEM rotating Equipment
