We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Kitchen Manager to join our team. As the Kitchen Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the kitchen, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. You will play a key role in managing the kitchen staff, implementing innovative menu ideas, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities
Manage and supervise all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
Ensure that food quality and taste meet our high standards
Create innovative and seasonal menu items in collaboration with the executive chef
Hire, train, and schedule kitchen staff members
Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients and supplies
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following health and safety guidelines
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless communication and coordination
Requirements
Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or in a similar role in a high-volume restaurant
Deep understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisines
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
Attention to detail and commitment to culinary excellence
Familiarity with health and safety regulations and procedures
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Benefits
Salary Range: $60,000-$70,000
Medical, Dental, Vision insurance offering paid by Jack Brown's- a $7,000+ value per year - effective 60 days after employment begins in a full-time salaried management position
401K with 2% company match after one year of employment
