The Iowa Primary Care Association is looking for a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an outpatient community health center in Council Bluffs, IA.

About the health center:

This community health center is a cornerstone of comprehensive primary care, serving as a critical resource for under-resourced patients. They integrate medical, dental, and behavioral health to ensure ensure all patients receive coordinated, all-encompassing care, under one roof.

Position Details:

Clinic Hours:

Mon-Thurs: 8am-7pm; Fri: 8am - 5pm; Sat: 8am-12pm; will discuss schedule during interview.

Call schedule: rotated weekly amongst the provider but is very light.

Patient load: 8-16 per day

Patient appts: 20 minute time slots

Team: 1 MD, 3 PA, 4.2 NP, .5 RN, 1.5 MA

EHR: Epic

Ideal candidate: Bilingual in Spanish, although not required.

Requirements

Current advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the State of Iowa.

Current Federal DEA and Iowa CSA registrations in good standing

Benefits

Student Loan Repayment Programs: Eligible for up to $50,000 for 2 years of service with an option to renew.

Salary range: Starting at $121,000 and goes up based on experience.

Licensing and Professional Subscriptions: Reimbursement provided.

Comprehensive Insurance: Medical, dental, vision, life, accidental death and dismemberment, short-term disability, long-term disability, and flexible spending available.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Access to confidential counseling and support services for personal and work-related issues.

Continuing Education: 4 paid days and $2,000/year.
