About the Role
The Assistant Shift Manager Table Games reports directly to the Shift Manager Table Games for Ocean Casino Resort and is responsible for all table games operations on assigned shift.
Position Responsibilities
Performance of pit, floor, and dealer team members
Hassle free guest and internal processes
Compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
Commitment and compliance to responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service standards
Dealer delivery of flawless and friendly service
Implementing all required policies and procedures
Integration and relationships between table games, finance, and relationship marketing
Listening and implementing findings based on guest and dealer feedback
Essential Functions
Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment
Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours
Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move quickly throughout the Casino/Hotel areas
What’s Required
5 years+ of table games management experience,
Knowledge of trends in table games and technological advances
Ability to work at all levels of the organization to ensure operational, revenue, and service goals are optimized.
Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, decision-making, and problem solving skills
