The Allergy Technician is responsible for supporting healthcare professionals in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with allergies. The technician performs various tasks related to allergy testing, patient education, and treatment administration under the supervision of a physician or licensed healthcare provider. We are looking for a candidate to join our busy ENT and Allergy Practice. We have 3 locations: Media, Glen Mills, and Chester, PA.
Requirements
Conduct allergy skin tests, including prick tests and intradermal tests, to identify allergens.
Prepare and maintain testing materials, equipment, and supplies.
Record patient medical histories and allergy symptoms accurately.
Assist in the development of allergy treatment plans, including immunotherapy.
Administer allergy treatments, such as subcutaneous or sublingual immunotherapy, as directed by healthcare providers.
Educate patients about allergies, treatment options, and allergen avoidance strategies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive allergy care.
Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with developments in allergy diagnosis and treatment.
Reliable Transportation and ability to travel to all office locations.
