Job Overview
The Electrical Project Coordinator organizes and manages the various parts of a data center project to ensure its success. This includes assigning and monitoring daily tasks and communication, as well as creating reports and updates for the project manager and other members of management. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and a background in project management or communications within an industrial or technical environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment and information
Liaising with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
Serve as point of communication between company teams and external resources
Ensuring that clients’ needs are met as the project evolves
Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
Work with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers
Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures
Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary documents are current, properly filed and stored
Create, maintain, and send comprehensive project reports
Including: Budget vs Actual Spend, Timeline Progression, Safety Items, Budget Hours vs Actual Hours per Area on Project, etc.
Achieve organizational goals while adhering to standards and best practices
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Three or more years of experience in project coordination
Project Coordination for Data Center work is a plus
Willingness to travel 75% of the time
Experience in coordinating teams and clients
Proven success in a corporate setting, working with all levels of management
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g. Basecamp or Trello)
Ability to create and manage multiple complex reports consistently
Benefits
The annual base compensation range for this role is between $65,000 and $75,000. The successful candidate's actual base compensation will be based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and professional qualifications.
