Makowsky Ringel Greenberg, LLC is currently accepting applications for an experienced, HVAC-certified Maintenance Technician for The Westbury Apartments in Memphis, TN. This position's regular work schedule is Monday through Friday but also includes rotating on-call responsibilities and overtime as needed. The candidate should display strong organizational and customer service skills. The candidate must be able to manage time well, work unsupervised, and be able to perform on both residential and commercial sites as needed.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
Appliance repairs
Repair and installation of HVAC equipment
Plumbing repairs
Electrical repairs
Install, repair, and rekey locks
Move and install appliances
Routine preventive maintenance
Preparing apartments for move-ins
Assist other company technicians as needed in trouble shooting and repairs
Adhere to company safety policies, including applicable OSHA safety standards
Daily documentation of work performed
Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
HVAC certification required (Universal preferred)
Two or more years of apartment maintenance experience
Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
Physical ability to perform the tasks assigned
General knowledge of building codes and laws applicable to maintenance and repair work
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to complete required documentation of work performed on a daily basis
Candidates must have their own tools
Candidates must have a reliable vehicle suitable for maintenance work
Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Must pass credit check, background check, and drug screening
