What is this job?
This is a full time, in person, union job with benefits. The person who fills this position will spend most of their time operating our T-shirt printing line, to fulfill large and small orders for customized t-shirts. You may also work on some of our other production manufacturing lines making other kinds of products. This is an active varied and fast paced position.
Jobs start at $22+/hour, benefits depending on hours, include full ORCA passes, health insurance, short and long term disability, free food, vision insurance, dental insurance, union membership, awesome coworkers, and the satisfaction of making cool things and helping to support out communities and change our country
You will need to be:
A reliable worker who shows up and delivers, day after day.
Able to spend an 8 hour shift, five days a week, on your feet and in motion.
Able to lift 55 pounds, retrieve stock from a ladder, stay focused throughout a production run.
Careful about details, paying close attention so every tee looks great.
Able to take direction, listen to instructions, take part in individual and shared problem solving.
A good learner, able to adjust as our company grows, adds new equipment, and evolves new processes and tasks.
A team player who can sometimes work on tasks outside your usual range of activities
Able to take on overtime hours when needed.
Extra points if you’re mechanically inclined and can fix some equipment problems yourself.
Requirements
Prior experience in manufacturing operations is a plus but not a requirement.
Experience making or crafting things as a hobby is also a plus.
On the job training will be provided.
You must be legally able to work in the United States
You must be at least 18 years of age
