We are seeking a dedicated and experienced hospitalist obstetrician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide expert care for pregnant women admitted to the hospital and will work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care for patients.

Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive obstetric care to pregnant women who are admitted to the hospital

- Manage labor and delivery, including performing deliveries and assisting with cesarean sections when necessary

- Coordinate with the obstetrician's outpatient provider to ensure continuity of care

- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to discuss patient care and treatment plans

- Provide education and support to patients and their families

- Adhere to hospital protocols and guidelines for obstetric care

- Collaborate with nurses, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects related to obstetrics

Qualifications:

- MD or DO degree

- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology

- Valid state medical license

- Proven experience in providing obstetric care

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

- Commitment to providing compassionate and evidence-based care
