The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a Substitute Teacher for our locations in North Charleston! Flexibility around your availability- up to full time!About The Sunshine House:Bright futures start here! The Sunshine House is much more than daycare for children 6 weeks to 12-years-old. We help children build a solid educational and social foundation -- with all the fun of childhood mixed in! We are one of the largest early education and childcare companies in the United States, operating more than 100 schools in 8 states. Our schools exude a comforting, family feeling, and are led by passionate, supportive early childhood professionals!!
Pay rate of $16-$21 per hour, based on experience, education and credentials.
First Steps Teacher Responsibilities:
Foster a safe and fun environment.
Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Document and share with families the important information in a child’s day using our app.
Welcome families and engage them in conversation.
Have fun and work as part of a supportive team!
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 30 days in a licensed childcare setting.
