Overview:
The L&D operations role supports training across 2 brands and ensures seamless onboarding of new hires, management of the learning journey during new hire training, effective logistics management of new hire training. Additional responsibilities include meeting logistics management, LMS updating and tracking, collaboration with marketing and HR to ensure updated asset delivery to learners, metric and survey development and creation and execution of operational processes. This role involves executional agility, rigor and collaborative acumen. Deliverables are not only time-sensitive, but frequently change and require exceptional ability to respond quickly to requests and deliver results that are directly visible to learners and internal Insmed partners. This position reports to the Senior Director, Commercial Learning & Development, is a member of the Commercial Effectiveness Team and provides operational support to L&D and all commercial teams, including market access and patient services. This position will be located in Bridgewater, NJ.
Responsibilities:
OnboardingIn partnership with HR, identify all new hires/transfers into field roles and ensure alignment to correct learning journey and Phase 1 course
Manage L&D onboarding calls for new hires/transfers, and create all necessary assets for all calls
Collaborate with L&D, Marketing, HR, Sales, Market Access and Patient Services to deliver all communications/logistics to Phase 1 participants
Support L&D team and work with all trainers/facilitators to ensure timely and accurate delivery of Phase 1 agendas and logistics/materials
Create invites and set-up and manage all home study webinars and sessions
Update master tracker for all new hire classes, and ultimate responsibility for L&D rosters
Partner with Insight team to push all curricula to all learners during home study period
Manage on-site logistics (hotel, travel, meeting room reservations) for all L&D meetings during Phase 1
Partner with Insight team to update Insight curricula for field teams, pull updates through and troubleshoot system
Manage and update Learning Journeys for all field teams,
Responsible for Onboarding calendar, and class scheduling for new hires
Curriculum ManagementPartner with internal teams to maintain and update insight system to reflect all updated curricula in Insight and troubleshoot issues
Support and work with Field Leadership on minor FCR updates and act as liaison with HR to pull changes thru
Partner with HR to integrate L&D courses into Workday, and ensure completion and cataloging of all courses
Work with L&D team to assess and analyze the effectiveness of current training programs via survey and evaluations through Workday and other internal-facing platforms
Lead updates on all training-related share point/Teams sites and ensures timeliness of data transfers, updating of materials, and coordination of learning session to streamlines training logistics
Other responsibilities Manage product launch logistics with all cross-functional stakeholders and vendors
Work closely with IT regarding system updates; report/data issues and employee feeds
Develop any processes or SOP to integrate technology to optimize training and data management
Effectively manages vendor relations for L&D
Leads process for all meeting & training surveys and data analysis, providing critical insights for strategic decision-making.
Responsible for assisting in managing budget
Responsible for any ad-hoc requests from the L&D team
Manage all aspects of logistics coordination for all commercial meetings to ensure training is aligned to other functions and proactively communicate with other teams to optimize efficiency at meeting planning logistics
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Prior experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
Proficient MS Office skills are also required
Experience with LMS systems, Workday experience a plus
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Problem solving and solutions-oriented team player
Excellent communication (verbal and written)

Work with L&D team to assess and analyze the effectiveness of current training programs via survey and evaluations through Workday and other internal-facing platforms
Lead updates on all training-related share point/Teams sites and ensures timeliness of data transfers, updating of materials, and coordination of learning session to streamlines training logistics
Other responsibilities Manage product launch logistics with all cross-functional stakeholders and vendors
Work closely with IT regarding system updates; report/data issues and employee feeds
Develop any processes or SOP to integrate technology to optimize training and data management
Effectively manages vendor relations for L&D
Leads process for all meeting & training surveys and data analysis, providing critical insights for strategic decision-making.
Responsible for assisting in managing budget
Responsible for any ad-hoc requests from the L&D team
Manage all aspects of logistics coordination for all commercial meetings to ensure training is aligned to other functions and proactively communicate with other teams to optimize efficiency at meeting planning logistics
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Prior experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
Proficient MS Office skills are also required
Experience with LMS systems, Workday experience a plus
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Problem solving and solutions-oriented team player
Excellent communication (verbal and written)
Experience operating within a highly complex cross-matrix environment; ability to connect and collaborate with key cross-functional team members including Marketing, HR, field Operations, Market access, Sales, Medical
Ability to effectively prioritize commitments
Demonstrated proactive approach to creating solutions and effectively communicating them
Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
Must possess a strong customer service and patient first mindset
