Position Overview

The NNA Sales &Marketing Automotive team, located in Novi, MI, is seeking a Sr Sales Coordinator! The Sr. Sales Coordinator will support the automotive sales team to manage various administrative sales support functions such as MDM (Material Data Management) creation in support of both pre-production and production orders. This role is critical for assisting various OEM teams with new program/part launches, as well as part changes throughout the life of a program. In addition, this role will be responsible for the management and entry of data, such as price, in the OEM computer system.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously with confidence in an unsupervised environment.

Provide mentoring and training for incoming Sales Coordinators.

Prepare and document S.O.P. (Standard Operating Practices) and best in class practices.

Enter accurate material data management order entries for pre-production orders

Communicate with supply chain personnel to ensure material is prioritized and scheduled appropriately to meet delivery deadlines.

Work with cross-functional teams in obtaining necessary data to pull certificate of analysis (CERT) to obtain BOLs

Manage set up for new tier stampers on resale programs by working with the supply chain team to ensure that all requirements are in place to set up new customers in SAP.

Maintain communication with tier stamper buyers as necessary for invoicing.

Enter RFQs from the customer into the RFQ Form with the assistance from Tech Dev for Product Management to get a quote

Process manual invoicing for assigned OEM accounts as required.

Coordinate all administrative activities between regional manufacturing facilities, third party tollers, warehouses and end customers as required, to ensure invoices are generated properly. and payments are processed on time.

Minimum qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business or related.

One to three years of experience in a large complex manufacturing environment, preferably aluminum, casting, rolling, and/or recycling.

Good understanding of manufacturing processes, techniques, and practices.

Ability to perform work accurately and independently

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate appropriately with peers, operators, and managers.

Computer proficiency in MS Office.

Preferred qualifications

Must be flexible and able to operate in a fast-paced environment

Good problem-solving skills and comprehension skills

Anticipate customer needs

Ability to organize and prioritize workload; must be able to manage multiple tasks at once without sacrificing attention to detail
