Overview:
Expected pay for this position is $61.42 - $81.39/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Service Line (SL) Director functions as the overall administrative leader for the Ministry-wide Service Line.
In partnership with the SL Physician Leader, this individual leads the development and market differentiation of OSF’s Service Line.
As the strategic administrative leader of OSF’s SL, this individual will direct oversight responsibility for key functional areas within services (e.g., business and strategy development, partnership opportunities).
The SL administrative leader will collaborate with regional leadership on the development and management of Regional and Ministry strategic plans related to their SL related to market positioning, clinician workforce planning, independent clinician integration, and community outreach.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration or related field
Experience:
4 years’ experience in healthcare operations
Licensure/ Certification: N/A
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
Working knowledge of leading clinical and ancillary service departments.
Working knowledge of CMS and Joint Commission conditions of participation.
Working knowledge of State of Illinois rules and regulations governing healthcare.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Master’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration or related field
Experience:
3 years’ experience of direct experience in ambulatory and/or acute operations
Licensure/ Certification: N/A
