Overview:

The Badge Coordinator and Janitorial Supervisor is responsible for managing administrative tasks related to employee badging paperwork, while also participating in the day-to-day janitorial operations. This dual role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and hands-on leadership in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

Badge Coordination:

Employee Badge Management: Oversee the process of creating, distributing, and tracking employee identification badges, ensuring timely issuance and renewal.

Pre-Employment Badging Assistance: Aid new hires in completing badging documents as well as helping them schedule/complete fingerprinting requirements.

Document Filing: Maintain accurate records of employee documentation related to badges, including background checks, security clearance, and access levels.

Compliance and Security: Ensure all badge procedures comply with company security policies and legal regulations.

Reporting: Prepare and maintain reports on badge issuance, expiration, and any access-related incidents.

Coordination with HR and Security: Liaise with the HR department and security teams to align on badge policies and issue resolution.

Training and Support: Provide training to employees on badge usage and offer support to resolve any badge-related issues.

Janitorial Supervision:

Team Leadership: Supervise janitorial staff, providing clear direction, schedules, and performance feedback.

Hands-on Janitorial Work: Perform cleaning tasks as needed, including sweeping, mopping, waste disposal, restocking supplies, and ensuring cleanliness in all designated areas.

Inventory and Supplies Management: Monitor and order cleaning supplies and equipment as needed, ensuring efficient use of resources.

Quality Control: Inspect the cleanliness of facilities regularly, addressing any deficiencies and ensuring standards are consistently met.

Safety and Compliance: Ensure the team follows safety protocols, including the proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role within janitorial services, with some administrative or clerical experience preferred.

Skills:

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).

Good communication and leadership skills.

Ability to lift and move heavy objects as part of janitorial duties.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Working Conditions:

This position requires a mix of administrative office work and physical janitorial tasks.

Flexibility in hours may be required to meet the needs of both badge paperwork coordination and cleaning shifts.
