Job Summary:
We’re looking for an RCO-Business Support Specialist to join our PharmScript team within our Revenue Cycle Operations–Facility department. As an RCO Business Support Specialist, you will support the various departments in Revenue Cycle Operation by handling duties not limited to data entry, reconciliation, mail, etc. The ideal candidate is a people person who enjoys troubleshooting, resolving problems and data entry. For you, no task feels too small and no challenge impossible. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Responsibilities:
Applies incoming payments in compliance with financial policies
Research and coordinate with accounting to resolve discrepancies
Adjusts the accounts, as necessary
Coordinates with billing and accounting in the processing of refunds
Generates the refund request and provides the proper documentation
Applies the refund to the account and maintains the Refund database
Performs the data entry of miscellaneous charges
Performs the data entry for administrative changes to the account
Distributes mail and faxes via our electronic database (Docutrack)
Opens returned mail, sorts, and keys in specific information accurately and timely
Keys in the updated address provided by the National Change of Address Database
Scans correspondence/documents to our internal electronic database (Docutrack)
Print and mails correspondence/documents as directed.
Other duties may be assigned to support the department
Qualifications:
High school degree or GED is required
Able to work independently, as well as in a diverse team environment
Reliable, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills; professional demeanor
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that should be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:
May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day
The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, walk, crawl intermittently
May be necessary to work extended hours as needed
May lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
