Overview:
As a member of the Consultative Analytics team, you will drive quantitative insights to identify opportunities for prospective clients, outline targeted recommendations, and help existing clients improve results. In addition, you will actively participate in sales prep discussions and ad-hoc data requests / analyses germane to senior management asks and/or proposal requests.
How you'll make an impact:
As an associate on Client analytics team, your primary responsibilities will include monitoring program health, conducting deep dive analyses on areas of opportunity, and identification of root cause and recommendations for continuous improvement of client programs. You will build and package cohesive analytical stories for a dedicated client through rigorous review of outcomes (via reports, interactive dashboards and other analytics resources). Examples of work products you will be directly responsible for include:
Generation of custom benchmarks analyses, which identify distinct areas of opportunity to reduce program cost and specific recommendations to capitalize on those opportunities
Swift and accurate delivery of ad-hoc requests for the client and/or executive asks
Providing answers to complex questions by generating hypotheses and quantitatively testing them
Packaging and presenting insights to the client
Development of advanced Excel or PowerBI based models to support analyses
Determination of the relative effectiveness of Gallagher Bassett’s solution set, through rigorous analysis of outcomes with and without a particular product or solution, adjusting for variables that might otherwise impact results
Use of primary and/or secondary research to identify required data to solve a given business question
About you:
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher, with strong academic credentials
Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint, ideally with experience in advanced analytics tools like R, Python, SQL, SAS, Power BI, or Tableau
