Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 3 - Environmental Services / Custodial to lead our housekeeping and laundry team at Brethren Village. This Life Plan Community is located in Lititz, Pennsylvania in the heart of beautiful Lancaster County. The General Manager will report to the District Manager and manage one manager and approximately 30 hourly employees.
Our Sodexo Environmental Services/Housekeeping teams work to direct housekeeping operations at client locations, partnering with them to deliver innovative solutions. These teams also have responsibility for driving client satisfaction by providing stellar customer service via effective communication with all levels of staff, as well as follow-through with action items that impact both client and resident satisfaction. At Sodexo, residents are the heart of everything we do. Our ability to create a clean, healthy and comfortable environment for senior living facilities is key to the full resident experience.
The successful candidate will:
have strong knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures;
have exceptional client service skills and be responsible for driving client and resident satisfaction scores;
provide a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors and staff and works closely with the Infectious Control department;
effectively manages the Unit Operating System; and
support a diverse and inclusive workforce.

have 5 or more years custodial or housekeeping management experience with prior director level experience;
have strong financial acumen with prior P&L experience;
are an expert in building and maintain strong customer / client relationships;
possess strong leadership skills and can work independently to drive program compliance and reach project target dates of completion;
can analyze data, present and effectively communicate to all levels within the organization related to training, leading committees and change management;
are proficient with computers and other technology; and
have experience with vendor and contract management.
