Responsibilities:
Preparation and processing of monthly payroll runs.
Balancing and review of all output: investigation and correction of errors associated with the auditing of payroll data.
Processing of payroll adjustments and validation of payroll entries by others.
Responsible for correct calculation and execution of special payments to employees, including grossed-up adjustments, etc.
Preparation and processing of all manual and off-cycle checks.
Balancing and transmission of all vendor and bank interfaces of payroll related data.
Maintain payroll administration as required by company, audit and country regulations.
Maintain communication and administration related to the recovery of wage loans, relocation reimbursements, etc. from terminated employees.
Maintain and expand knowledge of country-specific relevant legislation and regulations.
Communicates regularly and works closely with the Team leader and other team members.
Production to advice of any out-of-balance situations or production issues.
Responsible for calculation of payments as needed throughout the employee’s career within our client’s company: from sign-on bonuses to severance payments.
Control Tax and Social Security declarations, payments and enquiries.
Year end activities as required, related to payroll, accounting, Tax Social Security and reporting/ statistics.
Manage leavers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related field from a four-year college or university with
two to three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Attainment of, or the significant progress towards, the Fundamental Payroll
Certification designation is highly desired.
Excellent research and problem solving skills.
Flexible, capable to work under highly stress environment.
Indispensable knowledge of company and departmental practices and procedures related to payroll activities.
Ability to plan, organize and schedule duties to meet rigid payroll processing
deadlines.
Ability to process a high volume of detailed work in a short time frame.
Proficient in a variety of software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel
and PowerPoint for Windows.
Experience with payroll provider
Indispensable oral and written English communication skills.
