Are you interested in working on a unit with a great healthcare team that is patient centered? Then come join our PCU team at St. Francis Hospital! We are a 24 bed split unit located in Federal Way Washington. This is a great place to start your career and grow in your critical thinking skills as a new graduate or as an established RN. You will see a wide patient population focused on cardiac, pulmonary, vascular, renal, and septic patients. There are plenty of opportunities to learn.

An RN to patient ratio of 1:3-4
Team oriented staff with a focus on excellent patient care
1:1 training with staff on the unit
A strong foundation in our organization that is based upon quality and patient centered care
Unit based nursing council with a strong foundation of staff-led change
Opportunities for career growth within our growing Virginia Mason Franciscan healthcare system
We are looking for caring team members to help us provide evidence based care.

Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
One year of related work experience is preferred
Current WA state Licensure as a Registered Nurse
Current CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse), CSC (Cardiac Surgery) Certification preferred
American Heart Association Healthcare Basic Life Support certification required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification or attainment within six months of hire
