Special Education Paraprofessional position for ASAP Start Date

Paraprofessional needed ASAP! (MUST have documented experience working as a paraeductor supporting SPED students in SDC or 1:1 setting)
Millbrae, California
FullTime / 6.5 Hours daily / 32.5 hours weekly
In-person services are required
Minimum 2 years of current school-based experience
Data collection experience
Behavioral background experience Safety Care trained or willing to get this training.
$20 - $22 Hourly

Responsibilities:

Assisting in the admission of residents.
Reporting any changes in the resident’s condition to nursing.
Recording/documenting aspects of care in the medical record, aide book, etc.
Providing/Assistant with ADL’s, including daily hygiene, bathing, dressing and dental care.
Performing restorative and rehabilitative procedures such as ambulation, range of motion exercises, and positioning the resident.
Feeding and assisting with all other activities of daily living.
Bed making.
Providing a safe and clean environment.
Providing an emotional support and social interaction.
Preventing accidents and infections.
Learning and using safety skills.
Maintain confidentiality.
Know and comply with Resident’s Bill of Rights.
Ensure resident safety.

Associates Degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
