As a member of this team, the Packer/Inspector you will be responsible for operating thermoplastic extruders and associated production equipment to convert plastic resins into blown film for flexible plastic sheeting, tubing or bags, and efficiently producing a finished product on a timely basis that meets all customer product specifications.
Starting Wage: $18.00
Shift: Night (8pm - 8am)
Shift Differential: $2.00
Entry Level with Paid Training Provided!
Great opportunity for upward mobility.
Responsibilities:
Alert Setup Technician and Changeover Technician using the light system to keep them informed of production status
Keep the work area clean and clutter free: pick up scrap material around the production lines and cut scrap off cores.
Perform quality control checks on product and ensure all are properly labeled before stacking finished product.
Package bags/rolls into boxes, weigh boxes and keep accurate counts in our system.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Manufacturing experience preferred
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for long period of time (12 hour shift includes 2 meal breaks)
Willingness to learn.
