Position Title: Mammography Technologist
Location: Fairbanks, AK
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift Information:
Schedule: Monday to Friday with occasional weekends
Shift Hours: Between 6:30 AM and 5:00 PM
Weekend Requirement: As needed, occasionally
On-call Requirement: As needed
Vacation Requirement: As needed
Start Date: ASAP (onboarding process takes approximately 5-8 weeks)
Compensation:
Base Hourly Pay/Salary Range: $31.32 - $48.94 per hour, based on experience

Sign-On Bonus: Two-year completion bonus incentive
Covid Vaccine Requirement: COVID vaccination or a medical/religious exemption is required
Job Description:
As a Full-Time Mammography Tech, you will be responsible for performing mammography procedures by following and verifying referring providers' orders. You will apply your professional judgment and methodologies to produce high-quality images that aid in the timely and accurate diagnosis of breast health conditions. Key responsibilities include:
Conducting mammography procedures according to established protocols and policies.
Educating patients and their families about the procedures or treatments being performed.
Demonstrating professionalism in all interactions, fostering teamwork, and contributing to efficient resource use and quality patient outcomes.
Preparing and presenting high-quality images for interpretation by physicians.
Required Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience as a Mammography Tech.
BLS certification.
National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
AK license requiredcan apply after offer but must be licensed prior to starting.
Advanced certification by the accrediting body in the specialty required within 18 months of hire if applicable.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with DEXA.
