We are currently seeking full-time experienced (18 months+) Registered Nurses to join our team. This 36-bed telemetry-monitored nursing unit offers a unique opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients ranging in age from adults to geriatrics. The conditions within the scope of service include but are not limited to:
Myocardial Infarction
Coronary Artery Bypass
Pre/Post Heart Transplant Patients
Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement
Percutaneous Trans-luminal Coronary Angioplasty
Chest Pain
Congestive Heart Failure
Vascular Surgery
Ventricular Assist Device (VAD)
Invasive Hemodynamic Monitoring
Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac PCU, you will oversee patient care provided by the healthcare team using a professional practice model. Your responsibilities will include patient assessment, identifying and addressing health issues, creating and implementing care plans, and assessing patient responses to ensure optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed clinical assessments.
Prioritize patient and family needs.
Create, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
Adjust care plans as necessary to reach desired outcomes.
Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
Educate patients, families, and community members on health-related topics.
Collaborate with colleagues to create and implement care plans.
Delegate tasks and ensure timely follow-up.
Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving strategies in patient care.
Qualifications
Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
Specialized field of study: Nursing.
A current and valid nursing license.
Must have BLS certification or obtain it within 30 days of starting in this role.
