Propel is looking for an Account Specialist to join the Builders Risk team.

Responsibilities:
The Builder’s Risk Specialist’s main role is to ensure customer satisfaction and client retention by delivering timely, consistent, and quality service to the Account Managers / Account Executives.
Process service requests:
Manage the Builders Risk expiration list to ensure all policy extensions are quoted and bound as needed. Update systems, invoice and issue amended certificates for each extended policy.
Assist in preparation of quality Builders Risk submissions to carriers.
Assist in reviewing and analyzing quotations received from carriers.
Assist in preparation of professional and accurate Builders Risk proposals.
Request and review endorsements for accuracy.
Process premium audits and assist AM or AE in event of a dispute.
Prepare certificate templates and issue certificates.
Perform contract review with respect to Builders Risk insurance requirements and help educate clients regarding coverage needed.
Prepare and deliver timely binders and invoices upon binding of coverage.
Secure premium financing when needed.
Perform final policy checks before delivery to clients.
Quote online small business
Follow-up in a timely and professional manner with all clients, carriers, producers and peers.
Maintain and prioritize workload, including work to be handled by Account Assistant.
Participate in renewal meetings with producer and other Account Managers on the team.
Maintain certifications and complete assigned training goals.
Maintain current knowledge of underwriting requirements and authority outlined by each carrier in Builder’s Risk Portfolio.
Manage inbox to perform bid Reviews
Support Personal Lines VIP Builder’s Risk Needs
Qualifications:
Minimum 1+ years industry experience.
Resident State’s Agents License.
Industry related certifications preferred.
College degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Solutions oriented toward delivering services.
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook.
Agency Management System Experience. AMS Sagitta preferred.
Strong technical coverage knowledge of commercial lines.
Strong work ethic – timely follow-up, team oriented, proactive, detail oriented, and dependable.
Ability to work independently.
