Overview:

MSA has an opportunity for a Architectural Engineering Intern for the summer of 2025 at our Baraboo, WI office. Our architectural and engineering team works on a wide variety of projects ranging from libraries, fire stations, municipal buildings, park and aquatic, as well as wastewater and water treatment facilities. This position will provide architectural, structural, HVAC and plumbing support for our architecture and engineering teams and provides a great opportunity to be mentored by our senior architects and engineers.

Responsibilities:

The work you may do

Drafting of architectural, structural, plumbing, and HVAC drawings using AutoCAD and Revit

Opportunity to attend project meetings

Perform code reviews

Prepare cost estimates

Write specifications

Submit plans for review

Perform on-site construction observation

Review shop drawings

Qualifications:

What you bring

Skills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering (or related degree) 

Minimum of a 2.75 GPA required

Experience with Revit and AutoCAD preferred

Experience with Microsoft Office applications preferred

Superb written, verbal, and visual communication skills with colleagues and clients at all levels

Effective interpersonal communications skills, a team oriented disposition and work style, where cooperative work sharing and peer-to-peer mentoring is a daily habit

Excellent planning and organizational skills required for fast-paced and multi-tasking environment with the ability to coordinate this information across disciplines

Demonstrate technical focus

This position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer. We will not provide sponsorship for this position
