We are a mixed animal practice providing care to not only cats and dogs, but farm animals, small mammals, reptiles, and birds.

Our services include wellness and illness exams, general surgery, dental care, and diagnostics. We also have state of the art equipment such as digital radiology, dental radiology, and cold laser therapy.

Overview:

Sawnee Animal Clinic is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to lead our our veterinary support team! If you enjoy teaching and leading others then this is the position for you! Responsibilities / Qualifications:

Position Skills: 

The primary responsibility of the Technician Supervisor will be providing daily guidance, support, and

leadership to the Veterinary Technician team. Other duties include, but are not limited to:

Utilize hospital computer systems to document medical records and communicate with clients

and teammates. 

Inventory/food order management 

Maintenance and upkeep of machines and equipment

Must be able supervise, teach, and work in room appts, treatment area, and surgery 

Monitor recovery of surgery patients and communicate with owners per individual hospital

policy.

Position Requirements:

Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.

Associates degree in Veterinary Technology
