Position Summary:

Your expertise in inventory management systems, coupled with your knowledge of FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) methodologies, will ensure that our stock levels are managed effectively and in compliance with industry regulations. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the supply chain team to monitor inventory trends and create purchase order requisitions or material transfer requests as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintains accurate and timely inventory records, reporting, transactions, and stock levels for associated departments.

Conducts regular physical inventory audits (daily, weekly, monthly) to verify stock accuracy and identify discrepancies.

Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies or issues.

Updates inventory management systems.

Maintains inventory based on FIFO or FEFO system.

Notifies supply chain team to assure proper inventory is maintained, noting if physical inventory depletion trends increase in a timely manner.

Creates purchase order requisitions or material transfer requisitions, as necessary.

Follows guidance by departmental management to fulfill department-specific needs.

Ensures compliance with industry regulations related to inventory control and management.

Develops and recommends improvements to current processes, material flows, and storage space designs.

Weighs chemicals to provide stock quantity.

Must be able to work with raw materials.

Must be able to work in a warehouse environment.

Transfers chemicals into small containers for production.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to lift to 50 pounds.

Experience and Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Registered and in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or Trainee preferred.

2 years minimum of inventory experience required.
