Overview:
The Financial Analyst will report directly to the Operations Finance Manager and will have reporting responsibilities for manufacturing locations in the North America Region, specifically:
Responsible for the monthly closing process for their assigned area, analytical review of plant financial statements as well as forecasting and budgeting at the plant level.
Support the Operations Finance Group in the development, improvement and training of processes and methodologies, cost reduction opportunities and the development of operational targets.
Partnership with Operations Leadership and Collaborating on operational improvement strategies
Report on key monthly operational metrics
Publish monthly reports for both actual / forecast results to all key stakeholders
In addition to supporting the Operations Finance Manager, this role will have expanded responsibilities including:
Development and delivery of training materials for release to all Controller’s;
Involvement in special projects to support all Graham facilities (including International);
Increased interactions with the Regional Controllers, Operations Finance Managers and Director of Finance
Taking on a leadership role within the BU Finance team.

Identify key performance metrics that impact conversion costs and work with operations on reduction opportunities
Provide financial leadership for capital management, including working with the manufacturing organization to prepare financial analysis related to cost savings & maintenance projects (“AFEs”)
Work closely with Plant Controllers to verify accuracy of monthly forecasts and actual results
Assist Regional Controllers when vacancies exist in Plant Controller roles
Control
External/Internal audit support
Assist in the management of the physical inventory audit process
Conduct plant audits for in scope key controls (SOX, Building Blocks)
Planning & Reporting
Responsible for financial closing process for assigned areas
Provide day to day financial and operational support
Perform manufacturing variance analysis
Assist in monthly forecasting process
Assist in preparation of annual budget
Assist management with financial analysis or special projects
Complete profitability analysis for assigned facilities/products, including data validation
Qualifications:

BS/BA Required in Finance or Accounting – CPA/MBA a solid plus
3+ years Accounting/Finance Experience, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office tools, such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
Experience with SAP, Business Warehouse and Hyperion/HFM desirable.
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and data-manipulation skills
Effective communication skills - both interpersonal and written
Ability to work both individually and in a team environment
Ability to travel up to 25% of time to assigned locations for internal audits, SOX procedures, year-end inventories, and special assignments
The standard compensation for this role is $79,800 - $115,400. Salary offers will be determined based on final candidate qualifications, experience, skillset, and other relevant factors

The expected salary range for the position described in this posting is made in accordance with the legal mandates of certain jurisdictions within the United States. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual qualifications and experience.
