Connection, a Fortune 1000 Global Technology Solutions Provider selling IT solutions to a variety of agencies within the Federal Government, has a temporary need for sales administration. The Administrative Assistant, Sales provides administrative support to the VP(s), Director(s) and Sales Manager(s) as needed per the Sales site. The Administrative Assistant serves as the liaison between external and internal customers, departments and vendors as needed. The Administrative Assistant provides assistance with marketing, training activities, and ensures delivery of daily reports as well as ad hoc reports, as needed.

Responsibilities:

Provides administrative support primarily to Sales Management

Handles incoming calls, directs to responsible party and handles all mailings and interoffice packages in a timely manner

Plans internal/external events (lunch and learns etc..), books rooms and schedules meetings for Sales Management and Account Manager training as needed. Coordinates with marketing and training. Plans catering and negotiates costs.

Maintains Sales teams’ calendars, site rosters and org charts

Orders office and site supplies

Serves as liaison between external and internal customers, departments and vendors

Manages facility site issues, IT requests, LCD content on displays

Greets visitors and coordinates reception with staff.

Coordinates travel for sales management and others as needed

Runs and updates daily reports, submit PO's and expense reports, as directed

Preparation of presentations as directed

In some office locations maybe responsible for opening the office daily.

Performs all other duties or special projects as assigned.

Min:

USD $22.28/Hr.

Max:

USD $27.85/Hr.

Qualifications:

Requirements

High school diploma required

Associate or bachelor's degree in business or technology preferred

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with ability to create documents, spreadsheets and presentation materials

Customer oriented with ability to listen to and anticipate needs of internal/external customers

Attention to detail in composing, keying, and proofing professional business materials

Adaptable with ability to switch tasks based on shifting priorities

Excellent verbal communication skills with ability to present professional demonstrations

Interpersonal skills with ability to work well with all levels of the organization
