Responsibilities:
Assist the doctor with all oral surgeries and patient charting
Prepare exam rooms and enter patient information into electronic records
Communicate effectively with physicians, management, staff, patients, and their families
Take high quality radiographs
Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance
Follow all OSHA and BBP (Blood borne Pathogen) federal guidelines
Qualifications:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Active State Dental Assisting license
2+ years of hands-on Dental Assistance experience
Current radiography certification required
Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training as required by law
What Makes You Stand Out?
Open Dental experience
Previous Oral Surgery or Facial Surgical Experience, but we are willing to train a superior candidate who has excellent experience in other surgical areas
Current certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia is a plus
