Now offering a $1,500 sign on bonus for Medical Assistant / Medical Office Specialist new hires!

Effective April 1, 2024 and expires December 1, 2024. Applicable only for MOS positions in the Centers of Excellence and Maryland Family Care practices, of which this role applies to.

This position will travel to Mercy's infusion sites in Glen Burnie, Overlea, Lutherville, and our downtown hospital.

The Medical Assistant supporting Mercy's Oncology team demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the ages of patients served by their department. This position assists the MD/NP/PA in perfoming procedures. Operates, maintains and calibrates all equipment. Ability to supervise Medical Assistant I. Must be willing to perform job standards and provide excellent customer service to staff, patients and visitors in a manner consistent with Mercy Medical Centers' Service Excellence Standards, Mission and Values. 

Qualifications:

● High School Diploma or GED

● Experience as a Medical Assistant or EMT-Paramedic or Military Medic experience preferred

● Ability to travel to various Hubsite locations as well as the hospital
