Quincy Medical Group (QMG) has an exciting PRN Phlebotomist opportunity for individuals looking for a flexible, fill-in role. QMG is a multi-specialty group practice with over 155 physicians and providers, proudly serving West Central Illinois, Southeast Iowa, and Northeast Missouri for more than 85 years. Responsibilities:

As a Phlebotomist in this PRN role, you will be responsible for performing blood draws and other specimen collections for laboratory testing while ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for our patients. You’ll work closely with the laboratory team, following all safety and procedural protocols to guarantee accurate and timely collection and processing of specimens. This role provides support during weekends, holidays, and during the week when regular staff are unavailable due to vacations or call-ins.

This PRN, hourly, non-exempt position offers flexibility, with availability to work weekends and Monday-Friday covering shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. The schedule will be set one month in advance based on staffing needs, with shifts primarily to cover vacations, absences, or gaps in the schedule.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate is a trained Phlebotomist with a certificate or experience in phlebotomy, has excellent attention to detail, and is skilled at providing top-quality care to patients. Familiarity with medical terminology and lab safety procedures is preferred. This role is perfect for those seeking a flexible schedule while contributing to high-quality patient care.
