Responsibilities:
Essential functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
Safely operate a roll-off truck along assigned routes to customers and disposal sites
Safely deliver, transport and/or unload container with materials at designated locations/dump site
Operate electronic devices to log/report information
Communicate with dispatch personnel
Report delays due to road conditions, accidents, or breakdowns to management
Secure the container in place before departure and monitoring its safe distribution throughout the trip
Keep truck and associated equipment, clean, safe and in good working order
Perform truck and container inspections pre and post trip
Service customer container needs
Safely operate all vehicle controls for lifting and loading
Safely operate compacters to dispose of material
Follow all applicable traffic laws and regulations
Competencies
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Proficiency in tablet use
Safe driving practices
Flexibility and adaptability
Customer service skills
Supervisory responsibilities

Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Minimum 1 year of recent experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL.
Legally eligible to work in the United States.
Successfully pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and DOT physical.
Possess a current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License.
Physical strength to occasionally push, pull carts up to 75 lbs., along with bending, twisting, and lifting.
Great attention to detail and ability to navigate digital maps and mapping systems.
