In this role, you will manage assigned task aiding the overall financial needs and processes of the project and groups. You will oversee compliance with company standards and best practices. You will compile and analyze data pertaining to the measuring, tracking, and forecasting of project and group health and goals. You will assist in the development of training programs or initiatives and receive training in company management tools, standards, policies, and procedures.
Your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating with stakeholders to prepare standard financial deliverables for review and approval using multiple systems
Monitoring financial health by creating, reviewing, updating, and tracking cash flow, change management items, budgets, revenue, costs, and forecasts, across multiple systems
Maintaining the setup, reconciliation, and maintenance of budgets
Overseeing and managing project and group accounting processes (AP & AR)
Managing and providing specific project or group assistance in administration, coordination, and compliance of necessary requirements and programs
Overseeing financial reporting requirements as necessary
Conducting audits as required to ensure compliance and determine status of health
Understanding forecasting methods and able to assist in financial forecasting as required
Training teams in financial related processes and procedures
Documenting financial changes using appropriate systems and forms to drive consistency and ensure compliance
Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Construction Management and experience, or 4 plus years' of relevant experience in lieu of degree
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
Demonstrated competency in the financial management systems
Experience in contract terms and conditions and able to communicate and coordinate the impacts on the financials including payment terms, retainage, tax, and lien law requirements
Experience in a commercial contracting environment preferred
Understanding cost and schedule development and controls preferred
Solid analytical ability with excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI
Knowledge of ERP/Project Management platforms in general; experience using Procore, EcoSys and JD Edwards preferred

Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
