Overview:

Registered Dental Assistant or OA Dental Assistant for Orthodontics 

Travel position for Inland Empire. Mileage compensation also offered. GREAT pay with benefits 

Summary: The Registered Dental Assistant supports orthodontic care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act. 

Pay Range: $24.00   -$29.00  (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

Assists the doctor in ortho procedures 

Operated x-ray equipment and takes x-rays and ortho  records

Prophy teeth 

Instructs patients on ortho treatment and oral hygiene 

Chart and treatment plan with orthodontist  

Sterilizes instruments 

Setup and prepares rooms for ortho treatment 

Take IO's 

Charting 

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:  

Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or training OR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred 

BI-lingual in Spanish, preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:  

California Registered Dental Assistant or Orthodontic Assistant License 

X-Ray Certification 

Coronal Polish Certification required  

Current BLS certification

Must have oprtho experience
