Overview:

Catholic Health has opened a new Ambulatory & Urgent Care location in Centereach. The multispecialty practice is located at 2112 Middle Country Road. This new multispecialty location will offer an array of primary and specialty care, as well as urgent care services for the Centereach community and surrounding areas.

This Security position is affiliated with St Charles Hospital Security.

St. Charles is renowned for its outstanding customer service and scored as one of the top hospitals on Long Island in the delivery of high quality care.

Job Details:

The Safety and Security Officer ensures the safety of all staff, visitors and patients in the facility. 

Responsibilities:

Patrols the Hospital and grounds

Monitors visitors, lighting and illegal parking

Reviews conditions of the parking fields, curbing and sidewalks.  

Enforces all security regulations and is part of the Hospital Emergency Management Response Team.

Writes incident reports as required and performs other related duties as assigned. 

Requirements:

Qualified candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED

Security Officer License in NYS. 

Previous experience in Law Enforcement preferred. 

Valid Driver's License is required.

Posted Salary Range:

USD $25.00 - USD $29.00 /Hr.
