We are currently looking to add a Roadway Engineering Designer to our team. As a Roadway Engineering Designer, your responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities:
Working under the supervision of a licensed engineer, analyze and prepare roadway and Temporary Traffic Control Plans (TTCP) designs, calculations and drawings for Expressway/Limited-Access facilities and Arterial/Local roads using DOT and/or local jurisdiction criteria
Develop 3D Models of roadways, using Corridor Modeling in GEOPAK and/or Open Roads
Approach tasks with an open mindset; propose innovative solutions to design problems
Prepare engineering reports and contract documents for review by a licensed engineer
May track and provide initial review tasks of technicians or designers
Responsible for managing timely completion of multiple assigned tasks
Communicate effectively with team members and internal design groups; external communication as required on assigned tasks
Effectively present proposed design solutions as part of internal project meetings; may attend and contribute to presentations with external parties
Adhere to company marketing requirements by providing timely resume updates and participating in marketing campaigns
Ensure timely completion of time sheets and expense reports
Take ownership of personal career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to develop new skills, and setting and pursuing personal goals

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering
